Archery Turkey Hunting – What You Need to Know
For those who know, know archery turkey hunting is not for the faint of heart. However, once you start, you want more and more, and you look forward to it every year! Just ask Justin Broughton, volunteer instructor, president of the SD Bow Hunter’s Association with over 35 years of archery turkey hunting experience. Justin will share his passion about archery turkey hunting while giving you valuable guidance, tips, and tricks from gear to location for a successful hunt.

Justin Broughton
Justin is blessed to be a lifelong bowhunter of nearly 40 years. He’s had the privilege of bowhunting all across North America harvesting multiple species of big game with my compound bow and traditional longbow. He is originally from Corsica, South Dakota and has lived in Sioux Falls for the past 25 years with his better half, Bonnie. Together they have 5 adult children, 2 of whom are also bowhunters. Justin is the former National Youth Coordinator for the Pope and Young Club and has been proud to serve as the President of the South Dakota Bowhunters Association for the past 3 years.
