Custer State Park Creative Space
Jump Start with Nature Journaling
Come along and explore Nature Journaling in Custer State Park. Slow down, observe something in nature, and learn about putting it on the page through drawing, writing, or even numbers. No need to be an artist or scientist to experience the joy of nature journaling. Combining science, creativity, and mindfulness, we explore the details of what nature offers. Join our friendly and relaxed creative space and learn about Custer State Park’s nature journaling community. Suitable for beginners and a space for those with experience to share. This program will be indoors at the Peter Norbeck Outdoor Education Center and starts at 4:00 p.m.
There is no fee to participate, and supplies will be provided. However, a valid park entrance license is required. Licenses may be purchased at the Park Office (Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.) or at the Visitor Center, open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
