Native Seed Collecting, Cleaning, and Storage Workshop

Join SDSU Extension and the Native Plant Initiative for a Native Seed Collection, Cleaning & Storage Workshop on Thursday, September 17th from 6-8 pm at the Sioux Falls Outdoor Campus. Learn how to properly collect, clean, and store seeds from a variety of species 

native to South Dakota! Put your new knowledge to the test with 

interactive seed cleaning demonstrations and opportunities to 

harvest from on-site prairie plots. All materials will be provided but please wear appropriate clothing for exploring the prairie!
