Maple Tapping Workshop

Learn the art and science of making maple syrup at this hands-on Maple Tapping Workshop at Sica Hollow State Park on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Participants will learn how to identify maple trees suitable for tapping, the proper techniques for tapping, and the process of collecting and boiling sap to produce maple syrup.

The workshop will feature live demonstrations, expert-led instruction, and opportunities to sample maple products. Whether you are new to maple tapping or interested in expanding your knowledge, this program offers a great introduction to this traditional springtime practice. Lunch will be provided.

This event is a great opportunity to spend time outdoors while learning a practical and rewarding skill.
