Start the year off right with a hike in nature. This guided one mile hike will lead you through Lake Poinsett Recreation Area. The hike will be lead by South Dakota Volunteer Naturalists. Hikers should meet at the parking lot near the boar ramp. If there is snow hikers can check them out at the entrance. Be sure to dress for the weather with warm layers and good hiking shoes/ boots. If the temperature with windchill is 0 or below the hike will be canceled.
