We’re excited to be bringing in several craftsmen of the trade to present here at the campus their own hand made strip canoes, while describing the process. An overlooked do it yourself project, building and completing a strip canoe can be a rewarding experience that can be done in most garages or shops! Several hand crafted canoes will be on display and each builder will be discussing the process and answering any questions you may have as a participant. During this time, we will be taking applications to be a part of a strip canoe build here at the campus that will begin in January. The build will be time intensive and require that participants meet frequently to complete the canoe.
